The Great Dragon is a dragon-like creature appearing in the cartoon Winx Club.
Description[]
The Great Dragon looks like a Chinese dragon covered in red-orange flames. It has two arms and, in later seasons, even back legs. On each of the arm and leg it has three claws.
It has two opposing forces; the Shadow Phoenix, known as Lord Darkar, and the Water Stars, objects of imense power. The latter were brought into another dimension in order to prevent chaos in the Magical Dimension.
History[]
The Great Dragon created the Magical Universe and is considered the source of all light and life in it. While doing so, a small part of its flames fell into darkness, eventually becoming the evil Sourcerer Valtor/Baltor with the powers of the Ancestral Witches. Eventually the Great Dragon layed itself to rest on Domino, thus Domino received the Dragon Flame which continues to be passed down from one member of the Royal Family to the next.
